THE PLAS-SHOP POLICY: Plas-shop’s Cancellation and Returns Policy applies to the sale of all goods from www.plas-shop.com unless a variation is expressly agreed in writing in advance with a Plas-shop Limited Director.
Any advice as to the suitability of any goods for a particular purpose, and or any estimate of quantities needed, and any plan or measurement given by Plas-shop, or a representative of Plas-shop is strictly for guidance purposes and without liability on our part. Any guidance given will be based upon the information you have provided us. You must satisfy yourself that all goods and quantities ordered are correct.
Any error or omission whether typographical or clerical in our documentation issued by Plas-shop or prices on our website may be corrected without liability on our part.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS: Plas-shop may, at our discretion, accept or reject the cancellation or return of any goods not required. Any cancellation or return shall be subject to the terms of this policy. Please be aware that we may charge you a fee for handling, re-stocking and any transportation costs incurred.
As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order and contract with Plas-shop Ltd, under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, within 14 Days without giving a reason. Your right to cancel and cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the product(s).
Please note: Any order placed for made to measure items or product(s) cannot be cancelled.
To exercise this right, you must inform us at Plas-shop Ltd, Devlex House, Silverhills Road, Decoy Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12 5ND, EMAIL: admin@plas-shop.com TEL: 01626 241124, of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement of written means (Letter by post or Email). You may use the Cancellation & Returns form provided on the website if you so wish. Our preference for written communication is via email.
To meet the cancellation deadline, you must send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
IMPORTANT: Product(s) must be received by us at the address above no later than 14 days after you inform us of your cancellation. If you cancel this order/contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you except:
- Shipping costs
- Loss of value due to damage, missing parts and unnecessary handling of the product(s) by you.
All monies due will be reimbursed to you without undue delay and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we received the product(s) back to our warehouse
- If the product(s) had not been supplies to you, 14 days after the day you informed us of your right to cancel.
We will make the reimbursement due to you using the same means of payment you used to pay for the product(s) you ordered, i.e., back on your credit card, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may hold back reimbursement until we have received the product(s) back in our warehouse.
If your order has been received and you exercise your right to cancel, you will have to make your own arrangements and bear the direct cost of returning the products to our warehouse. The cost for returning the items will vary from carrier to carrier and will depend on the postcode collection point and the size and weight of the package.
Importantly the product(s) must be insured by you and the transport company must allow time for checking the product whilst in their presence for any missing parts or damage. If this checking time is not allowed, then you agree to accept our finding once checked.
We strongly advise that you take photographs of each individual package to be returned to us and supply these photos to us prior to collection from your chosen transport company. This is for your own protection against goods arriving to us damaged.
If you have installed the product(s) and exercised your right to cancel, it is your responsibility to have the product(s) uninstalled, packaged sufficiently for transportation back to us and accept that the product will be classified as used and therefore we have the right to deduct from your reimbursement the lost value of item(s) for resale.
TRANSIT DAMAGE: If the product(s) is received by you and has transit damage to the outer packaging then this m ust be noted when signing the carrier’s deliver note or handheld computer. If it is obvious that the whole package has been damaged during transit then you can refuse delivery and ask for a replacement to be sent.
MANUFACTURING FAULT ON ARRIVAL OR MISSING PARTS: If when unpacking the product(s) and within 72 hours of delivery you find that there is a manufacturing fault or missing parts then there is no need to return the full order as you can contact us on 01626 241124 and we will at our discretion send out replacement items or reimburse the price of the defective product(s) at the pro rata contract rate provided that:
- We are given a reasonable opportunity to examine the defective items (if we request to do so).
- The fault/defect is not due to willful damage, negligence, fair wear and tear, incorrect storage, movement, or installation.
- You do not make use of the defective items after giving us notice.
Please note: if we request the items to be returned to us, we will cover the cost for this and will organise collection, BUT if upon inspection the product(s) are found not to be faulty/defective or we find that one or more of the conditions above are found to be the case, then we reserve the right to pass on the cost of collection and shipping to you.
MANUFACTURER’S GUARANTEE: Upon request, we will provide information about any manufacturer’s guarantee offered and available to you in respect of the goods, but we are not legally responsible for any obligation under manufacturer’s guarantees.
PLAS-SHOP’s LIABILITY: Our total liability shall be limited to the contract price and we shall not be liable to you for any loss of business whether direct, indirect or consequential.
NON-PAYMENT: Plas-shop shall be entitled to cancel or suspend the contract or your account if you fail to pay us any sum due pursuant to the contract (whether or not any part of your account is subject to query). We also reserve the right to cancel if we believe you are:
- subject to a bankruptcy order, or a court order;
- entering into liquidation or administration;
- unable to pay your debts within the meaning of Section 123 of the Insolvency Act 1986
- about to cease trading.
